When you join a network marketing business opportunity, you are very excited about the possibility of earning weekly and monthly income, and finally achieving your financial dreams.
However, once the early excitement begins to wear off, it becomes even more important to fully understand what it takes to achieve long-term success in network marketing. Rest assured, it is not as simple or easy as they make it sound in business opportunity presentations.
It's important to understand that the time and effort you invest in your business today will pay off in the future. In most cases, it is not something that will provide immediate profits. In other words, you cannot judge your prospects of long-term success based on the amount of money you make in your first 30, 60 or even 90 days. You are not alone if in the first few months it seems like you are investing lots of time, money, and energy with little no profit to show for your efforts.
Consider this; how many months does it take to sell a house after listing it? How long does it take a book writer to get published and get their books on the shelf after it is written?
