How much money are you making?

"It's not about how much money I am making, it's about your financial goals, and whether you feel this opportunity can help you achieve those goals."

This is not avoiding the question, it's simply focusing the question back onto them. You want them to understand your income is not relevant to the level of success they can obtain. Focus on the opportunity, and whether it represents a great fit for their financial goals.

I'm not sure I can afford it?
